Got my inspection report back and theres a note that says the detached garage was not part of the inspection scope. Its a 2-car garage, probably 30 years old. The main house inspection was thorough but now im worried about what could be wrong with the garage. Is this standard? Should i push back or get a separate inspection?

This varies by inspector and contract. Some include detached structures, some charge extra, some exclude them. You should have received an agreement that outlined the scope before the inspection. Check what you signed.
just checked and it does say detached structures excluded unless requested. i guess i missed that. ugh
Call them back. Many inspectors will add it for a small fee ($50-100) if youre still in contingency period. Worth asking before hiring someone else.
what are you worried about specifically? a detached garage is usually pretty simple - roof, foundation, door, electrical if its wired. you could probably eyeball most of it yourself. look for sagging roof, cracked foundation, door operation, and whether electrical looks sketchy
honestly mostly worried about the roof. looks old. and theres some staining on the concrete floor
The staining could be nothing (oil from cars) or something (water coming in). A garage roof replacement is usually $3-6k depending on size. Id at least get eyes on it. If youre still in contingency call your inspector about adding it or have a roofer look at just the garage roof.
honestly if the sellers disclosure says nothing about garage issues and you dont see obvious problems, id probably let it go. a garage isnt the house. worst case you need a new roof in a few years. but thats just me - i tend to accept more risk than most people here lol
